BREAKING! FIFA And UEFA Ban Russia From Football Completely (Details)

FIFA and UEFA have now banned Russian athletes from all football competitions including national teams, 

Fifa’s decision means that Russia would miss the men’s World Cup qualification play-offs in March.

The decision comes after Russia started a military mission in Ukraine last week.

Yesterday, Fifa decided that Russia would complete in their upcoming games at a neutral venue without their flag and anthem.

However, the announcement was criticised by fans and national teams around the world.

A statement from UEFA today read:

“All Russian national teams and football clubs are now suspended from both FIFA and UEFA competitions.”
