LATEST OPINION:CRISTIANO RONALDO OPENS UP ON RETIREMENT PLANS.
Cristiano Ronaldo reiterated his desire to continue playing and win trophies, despite admitting there might not be many years left in him.
At 37, Cristiano Ronaldo remains one of the most formidable warriors in the game, as he continues to play at the highest level. Despite a recent slump in form, the Portuguese superstar remains more determined than ever to continue his journey in football as he targets more silverware.
Ronaldo’s arrival at Manchester United last summer for his second spell in the Premier League made the club title challengers in the eyes of many. However, things have not gone according to plan for the player or the club, to a point where many have questioned the team’s decision to sign the veteran superstar.
Ronaldo hasn’t performed at the levels expected of him, and despite that, he retains a reputation not many players in the sport have. Given his advancing years, there have been questions about his ability to play at the top level for much longer.
Some reports previously insisted that Ronaldo’s aim remains to play until he is 40, which would be three years from now. However, the striker still harbours dreams of going on for four or five more years and adding more silverware to his already outstanding collection of accolades.
